In 1968, Mr Ander Ho started Mayor Packaging Enterprises Ltd., a supplier of plain PE bags for the packing of tropical fish in Hong Kong. Quality products and exceptional service led to company growth and expanded capabilities.  Today, our operations are part of a global flexible packaging company that focuses on a strong manufacturing presence in regions that span the globe.

Important Milestones

1968 – Mr Ander Ho founded Mayor Packaging Enterprises (1968) Ltd in Hong Kong.

1992 - Opening of the first plant in China. Wonderful Packaging (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd was established in Shenzhen, China as the production arm of Mayor Packaging.

1996 - Formation of the local China Sales Team, which today, grew to include Sales Offices in major cities in China including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Shantou, and Chengdu.

1998 - Formation of the Export Division. Today, export sales covers countries like USA, UK, Mexico, South Africa, Korea, Japan, Russia, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.

2007 - Opening of the new state-of-the-art plant, Dongguan Wonderful Packaging Co. Ltd. in Dongguan, China. The plant’s design, layout, equipment, and facilities encapsulate the company's commitment to the highest standard in quality and safety, and facilitates seamless production processes including intergration of an R&D laboratory.

2011 - Mayor Packaging is acquired by Bemis Company, Inc., a global supplier of flexible packaging and pressure sensitive materials with operations in 12 countries.
