We at Mayor Packaging understand that to service the global industry we have to be a responsible manufacturer in China because as producer of the packaging we are actively representing the customer brand name. We will not just operate the plant to fulfill the primary role as a manufacturer, but also consider the responsibilities it has to the environment and society. We have installed a solvent recovery system that ensures that the majority of solvents generated during manufacturing are removed from the environment. This benefits both society and workforce alike and is a declaration of intent by Mayor Packaging for the future.

Non-toluene based printing ink

Further evidence to their concern for the environment is the switch to toluene-free ink used for printing. The decision to switch to Toluene-free ink is not mandated by the government, it is a conscious decision by Mayor Packaging to move to Toluene-free ink based upon their desire to make a positive, long-term impact on the environment, the health of consumers and the well-being of its employees.
